Ontario Eastern

Being that my layout will use the TOMA format, I am left wondering,  if anyone has tried using the WS modules to create their layout, and what was you experience taking this route? Would you use them again.  Other than the perk of all the scenery Stuff, I am reminded of what Joe said about foam in a few other posts.

WS Modules

We tried a couple of their modules and didn't really care for them. The modules did not go together well. For example the pieces for the legs were not cut the same length, some of the wood pieces were pre-drilled some were not and the ones that were pre-drilled did not match up with its counter part. We called WS and they sent new modules at no cost to us but we found the same thing was happening. WS is a fine company with many good products but for us this particular product wasn't very good. I am sure there are other folks out there that will disagree and that is ok, this was just our experience. Honestly I think it would pay to just build your own.

Good to experiement with

I don't think I would recommend them for a layout.  I have one that I want to clean up and will use as a photo diorama.  Good way to practice with their offerings.
