Welcome aboard Modeltrainhead!
From my experience on this site, it is all about helping out fellow model railroaders. The best bet is to just ask a question when you don't understand something. All of us were newbys at one time, so you won't ask a question that we haven't asked at one time or another. Asking specific questions about specific things will get better answers than generalizations. Again, welcome aboard.
Welcome
Welcome to the site and the hobby! We all were "newbies" at one time and learn as we go along. Please read all you can (especially on this site) and ask plenty of questions. Don't be intimidated by "big" or complicated layouts of others, but use them as encouragement to "keep at it"
It's great to see a young person like yourself interested in model railroading as a lot of us are "old coggers".
