To All: I have started a new series of pioneering Florida short lines. The Yellow River RR was formed in 1887 in Florala, Georgia to tap the yellow pine forests in the region. It was eventually built to Crestview, Florida. In 1906 it was bought by the Louisville & Nashville to complete a link to Pensacola, Florida. It is now abandoned with only a couple of depots still extant. I painted and lettered this "What If" car to commemorate this pioneering Florida short line. Photo by Elvin Howland. Custom Cars

Taddeoj: I spend about 1 hour to decal a side. I weigh, add underbody details, #58 Kadee couplers, coupler cut bars, air hoses, weathering, etc. Probably spend, on average, about 4 or 5 hours per car. Some take longer, others less time. Being retired I can speed a lot oif time on my home layout, freight cars and model railroad club activities.Yours, E.H.
