To All: A recent project that I finished for the First Coast Model Railroad Society's HO scale layout is this C&NW Mill Gondola. Mill gondolas get real dirty, so I weathered the car accordingly. I used Bragdon Weathering Powders and flat finish to accomplish this look. Sometimes. with humidity. the car will blush slightly. This is not a problem as this adds to the weathering affect. I also put together a steel load, tied together with very small rubber band to represent steel strapping. I did not weather the steel load, as I wanted it to look like painted steel from the mill. Looks great

Really nice, not exaggerated job on the weathering.
