Hello all

I have an Overland Models Trackmobile from a recently deceased friend.
When I wanted to test it, it made a lot of noise and was running erraticly.
So I disassembled the model only to find out that the cause for the noise is the only plastic gear which is in bad shape; the brass ones are still fine. On the smaller gear one tooth was almost gone and several others were damaged. So I need a new gear.

I have tried Brian Marsh from Overland Hobbies, but he couldn't help me since he didn't have any spare parts for a long time.

The  plastic gear is one piece, consisting of a larger and a smaller gear on top of each other on a common metal axle. The larger one has an outer diameter of 7.49 mm and 28 teeth and is 1.17 mm thick;  the smaller one has a diameter of 3.05 mm and 10 teeth and is 1.63 mm thick. The axle is 4.49 mm long and has a diameter of 1.44 mm.
On both gears the teeth are slanted 7 degrees, be it in opposed directions.
The so-called Modul (ratio of diameter and number of teeth) of the gears is M0.25.

Is there anyone who can help me with a replacement of maybe knows where I could get one?

I would be much obliged.

Try http://americanscalemodels.com. They purchased the stock of Overland Parts from what I understand.  Here is a link to search the parts tagged with gears:  http://americanscalemodels.com/index.php?route=product/search&search=gears
