This week is peeling paint, a technique is so easy to do on older buildings.  This one is for buildings made from wood.

How to... peeling paint

Hi, I do not understand American English well, sorry.
Could you write the name of the product you use at the beginning, before the paintings and the color of these?

Thank you very much

Neither do I

Hi Ricardo

That American English stumps me too sometimes as I'm British.

These are coffee stirrers from places like McDonalds or Costa or Starbucks.

Hope that helps.

Turps

She soaks the wood in turpentine before applying the acrylic paint. That messes up the acrylic bond, so the "cellotape" will pull some of the acrylic off.

"Two countries separated by a common language." It took me a couple of tries to get it.

Really enjoyed it! "Turps"

Really enjoyed it! "Turps" would be plain old Turpentine, correct?

Turps

Hi Guys

You can use any solvent such as Turpentine, Turpentine substitute, Methylated or Mineral Spirits. It just has to be something that "interferes" with the acrylic paint's bond.

Hope that helps.
