Like many of you, I have a bunch of Pan Pastels.

This week I got frustrated with them lying all over the place. They stack nicely but they are not convenient to move around in these stacks. So I created an handy storage tray!

I'm sure others will want to clean up their Pan Pastels too,
so I've made the trays available on my website for anyone who wants them...

Each Tray holds 10 Pan Pastels with lids.
They come in single trays, 2 packs and 5 packs.

Cheers!

Labels

Pan Pastels are labeled on the bottom. I find this a bit annoying, so when I created my storage trays, I also created labels for my Pan Pastels so they would be easy to find in the trays.

I put the labels on the side of the lids so when I replace a colour, I can just swap the lid instead of making a new label.

I simply printed the names on label paper and cut them out.

Thanks Ken!

Also if people want custom sizes of tray, feel free to email me at billy@pdc.ca.

For myself, I made a tray that holds 19 Pastels...

The space at the end is so you can slide the pastels down to release the one you want from the 'stack'.

Great idea

Does it come in a pastel color as well? I will have to get one or more of these. Looks like a great Christmas gift for my friends.

Other Uses

What are the dimensions on the tray? I am thinking that they might be useful for other tools also. It would be pretty easy to put a row of those in a plastic drawer unit drawer.

Knives, paint brushes, files, sanding sticks.

Since my work bench area shrank by 2/3rds when we moved I am still trying to get things situated.

But to answer your question, the Pan Pastel Trays are 2.75" x 7.375" x 1.375"
