John Buckley roadglide

Okay guys, suggestions needed. The wife says what do you want for Christmas? I was racking my brain because there really isn't anything I am needing. Then it occurred to me, an airbrush. I have always wanted to try weathering using an airbrush. So.......what do you guys use? I don't need anything fancy. Just something I can do some basic weathering on cars, structures and track. trying to keep it under 100 bucks including the compressor.

Well under a $100 for

Well under a $100 for airbrush and compressor might be a stretch.  You might try Amazon Warehouse deals, I got a Paasche VL kit (it was missing one needle) for around $50 (Normally $85), and the Master compressor for around $80 (Normally $100).  I like both.

Harbor Freight

Harbor Freight has a couple of offerings that are worth looking at.  Granted the airbrush is a knock off of a brand name like a Pacshe or Badger, but the ones I have seen appear to be well made.  I personally use a PowerCat airbrush that is an Iwata knock off and have been pleased with it.  Haven't seen a PowerCat for sale on e-bay in a while but was able to get mine for around $35.  I use a portable air tank as my air supply that I re-fill from my main air compressor.  My tank is fitted with a regulator and moisture trap.
