Here's some background info and pics on the era I'm working on my layout. Ownership of the rails changed several times from the United Fruit Co. to Northern, and then eventually the local government control. The United Fruit Co. also owned it's own fleet of steam ships known as the Great White Fleet.

The Boxcars used at that time.

One I built to look like it.

The station and UFC offices.

Passenger service to San Jose.

Several Pics of the T shaped pier.

Loading the ships.

Trains of the time.

Wow. Love it!

Great shots. What year were the photos of the steamer taken?

All the shots along the line beg to be modeled even if greatly compressed. The "T" pier is a signature scene but I also love the tracks snaking along the coastline. Thanks for sharing these.

Re, Wow

Steamer time frame was early 1900s. Not sure of a firm date.  Most photos are from post cards I've come across searching the web, not many have dates.
