The Electrical inspector has just signed off on the work performed by the Porcupine Valley Railroad Electric Department. They got a charge out of working on the Hotel California and after their smoke test they all headed over to Eino's Pub & Grub for a post work meeting. Now the work shifts over to the landscaping firm and there was the buzz of excitement all over town as the morning train came in from the outside world with cars loaded with Palm Trees for the hotel. 

That's just the beginning, however the landscaping company has been very tight lipped on just what they have in store for the garden that is expected to draw visitors by the thousands. For those that can't travel to California, the Porcupine Valley is bringing California to them. 

One of the lamp posts came without a bulb in it. Nobody in the Porcupine Valley had a bulb that matches the fixture, so one had to be special ordered.  Living in the Porcupine Valley is a lot like living on an island. Most everything has to be shipped in from the outside.
