Archadia & Betsey River RR Boxcar

To All: The Arcadia & Betsey (sic  Betsie ) River RR was a narrow gauge logging road connecting Arcadia, Michigan on the shore of Lake Michigan with Copemish, Michigan east of there. The line interchanged with the Ann Arbor RR and the Chicago & West Michigan RR. Later the line was converted to standard gauge and had passenger service two times a day and hauled manufactured  furniture and other goods. I painted, lettered and weathered this "What If" 50 foot Athearn car for use on my layout. Thw car is assigned to Newsprint service. POhoto by Elvin Howland. Yours, Elvin Howland/E.
