Hi all.

Last night I finished my first diesel custom diesel. It started as a Texas Pacifc and turned into this.

I didn't add any detail, just moved the horns from the side body to the nose, as I seen this on the photos I downloaded from http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/.

So, after seeing Mike Confalone's videos on TMTV, I decided to give this a try.

What do you think?

Please, remeber that this is my first try on diesel weathering.

delightfully dirty

It's a delicate balance of grime and dust on the trucks, with a subtle bouquet of fuel spill around the filler cap.

You're kidding

You're kidding - that's your first try at diesel weathering? I only wish my first try at weathering looked even slightly that good. Wow, just wow.

Joe, that shows the value of the teaching tools you are providing . In the old days a lot of practice would be required to gain the same knowledge we can get from a video or article....DaveB

Very nice Luis!

I'm with Joe F. I wish my first attempts at weathering looked near that good.

Hi all. I am amazed with all

Hi all.

I am amazed with all the nice comments that this is getting.

Thank you so much.

TMTV has been really helpful and the weathering series were my inspiration.

Joe, yes it is my fist diesel. To be honest, it was first weathering job on any kind of rolling stock. I have some experience with buildings.

Thanks for all the kind words!!!
