The turnout with the "dangling" end leads to the iron ore mine. Tomorrow's job: Installing Bullfrogs and wiring to those switches, then continue the main and siding around the end of the peninsula.

There should be a respectable amount of layout to show for the upcoming Algonquin Turn convention.

Helix & track plan

Mike: There are actually three things stacked up in the helix space. Bottom level is a staging loop repesenting Sudbury, ON. Above that is a 1-1/2 turn right-hand helix that gains a little elevation and within the first level, and adds some run time between scenes. On top there is the 4-1/2 turn left-hand helix (entry at back centre, exit front left) that gets up to the second level.

cnscale: I should post it to the depository some time, so people can point at it and say "You've never gonna build all that!" .
