I did this LifeLike GP18 a little while back with a grey/yellow paint scheme, but somehow I wasn't satisfied with it.

So I decided to strip the paint a second time and repaint it this time in a straight dark green. I gave the engine a light weathering.

While I was working on this engine I upgraded the DCC to a sound-decoder SDN136PS from Digitrax, Inc.

For a clean install I added self designed power adapter and LED boards and fitted a 8x 22 µF keep-alive capacitor.

No pics re the re-birth

All I get on my screen is three (3) no entry icons.  You my need to re-post your pics.I have tried for over 8 hours and this has not been corrected.  I know either Joe or one of the other usually try to correct these errors.(It is still the middle of the night in the U.S. on Monday morning.)

Would love to see the pics.

Just rechecked and the photo's paint job, and d.c.c. instillation look great.  I can not recall see k.a.'s in n scale before. I have enough trouble finding space in H.O.
