If you are like me and need to put numbers on number boards and get frustrated with decals try this. I print the number boards using paint.net ( like photoshop) I keep a blank image and type in the unit number. copy and paste and print.

This is how they look when printed ( not the best pics, but you get the idea)

using an exacto knife cut them out.

I then glue them in place with clear tacky glue..

This is what you get:

Have fun.. and hopefully you will find this easy and possibly even like it.

What material are you using?

Hi!

Thank you for this info!

Printing small on normal prints is always an issue. My prints gets all fizzy..
What are you printing with/on? Laser/Inkjet, Standard paper, or some decal with adhesive?

material

Martin, I should have put that in the original post.  I am using standard white paper printed with an inkjet printer. I do have the print quality set to the highest vale for this. The printer is an older HP F2100. Other than that, the only materials are what is mentioned above. no decals..

Awesome idea. I'll print them

Awesome idea. I'll print them on transparency pastor and use canopy glue since it dries clear, unless it needs a white background. Randy --
