what paperwork are you using

My layout is a small "what-if' layout. I use homemade switchlists, based on a waybill system developed by Mike Weiss and published in the OPSIG's Dispatch Office.

Just Starting

I have just started my layout, but I have decided I will use one similar to Tom Driscoll's Simple Car Card System that was in the January 2012 issue of MRH.

Switchlist

I use Switchlist, a program for the Mac.

Quote:

SwitchList is a Mac program for automatically making lists of freight cars to switch on a model railroad. If you have a small model railroad or a shelf layout and want a switch list program that’s easy to set up and easy to use, try it out!

Very simple industry requirement card

At a club I go to we use an industry requirement card. It might say Acme Ind. needs 4 box cars, when they are delivered all the rolling stock there is removed. You never use car numbers or road names, only car types. You never have to search for lost cars. Just keeping it simple.

Switch lists

Hi,

Here's a switch I made. This is based off a Union pacific prototype.
