KCS GEVO arrives on the Baton Rouge Southern

Thu, 2010-04-15 04:00 — kcsphil1
Thanks to Chuck at Feather River Trains for ordering and shipping, and Matt at FVM, I now have a KCS GEVO pinted in the Retro Belle scheme. I went to shoot some video last night - it sure looks better on the small screen of the camera then here. I think I need to move a tad back next time. That said, I think its a winner of a model - and while it has some break in noise, it makes less noise then my Atlas GP-30 growler. So that's a good thing.

Interesting Model
Thanks for the post. I do find that the wider the angle on the lense and the further you are back the blurry depth of field issues maybe solved. The GEVO is an interesting locomotive. I wonder if a Tsunami sound decoder will eventually be made for this puppy?.
Well I hope so
But this is a N scale model, so it woul dhave to a very tiny Tsunami with a very small speaker.
