60' Thrall Centerbeam w/o opera windows - looking for pictures
I'm looking for pictures (model or proto) of 60' Thrall centerbeam cars with the uprights instead of the opera windows. I'm building a couple of the McKean kits and the directions only show the opera window placement. What I am wondering is the placement of the cross braces for the uprights. The 73' cars have 4 cross braces so they really won't help as these have only 2. I checked Railroad Picture Net but most are the opera windows. The 2 uprights I found had loads block the spots where I think the cross braces go.
Thanks for any help

Funny I tried it and it still works for me. Not sure if you have to be registered for RPA. Here it is again and one other UP I found

That's a pretty interesting building in the background. Looks like an older brick or clay block masonry building with a replacement metal roof. Also, there used to be a masonry addition on the side of it at the corner nearest the freight car, judging from the diffent colors of masonry. Two openings above the metal shed on the end of the building have been sealed up with masonry. Lots of modeling fun.
I'm betting that it's a machine shop based on the size of the electrical service from the pole.

you will need to click the small PDF file on the right and then register with the US Patent system(Its Free) to view the full schematic drawings with multiple Drawings and views and then download them to your computer. I hope this helps.
Oh and all your photos are viewable now.
