Got one of these off eBay , and it actually has a nice little interior, even the pot bellied stove. For my own self punishment, I'd like to paint it. But I can't figure out how to get that "inner body" structure off of the underframe.
Anyone done this, or know the secret?

I have a old version p2k

I have a old version p2k caboose and I just remvoved the body from its frame. There are 2 tabs located at each car ends at the bottom of each door. I was able to put slight pressure near there and it popped up. Its a slight press fit and if its feels stuck a small flat blade screw driver may help. then with the shell off there are another 2 tabs at the same location that needs to be pryed up. the interior is glued to the underframe so work slowly around the car or use an x acto blade to cut the glue bond
