Hi all, Has anyone ever installed Kato Digitrax FL12 Decoder? I have been following the instructions which came with a Superline Passenger Car to do so with no luck. The lights work before I put the chip in, but dont once the chips in, take it out again and they work. Therer are no instructions with the decoder. I have contacted Digitrax who told me to contact Kato , unfortunately they do not respond to emails. Can anyone advise me?

I don't have digitrax.
The decoders generally are universal in nature, while there may be differences between the various dcc systems. On the CV Products system we use in the club I belong to, cv-10 turns the lights on in locomotives. I don't know if it would use a different cv to turn on lights in a passenger car or caboose, but it sounds like there is a cv that you need to turn on to get the lights to come on.
