Can't view videos in HD.

I'm getting this message when I try to watch a video: "Video not found or access denied: ">http://player.vimeo.com/external/130390756.hd.mp4?s=1146a17baf14b7d865f9299e18193486&profile_id=113."

I can watch the alternate video just fine, but it isn't HD.

Is there a problem with the site, or is it on my end?

Latest release of Firefox

It's the latest release of Firefox ... You'll need to use a different browser until Firefox changes whatever they did that broke things on our site. Chrome works great ... And in fact I've moved to Chrome as my standard browser because it works so well compared to all the other browsers. Firefox has kind of gone to the dogs ... No pun intended! On the alternate player, it defaults to SD, but if you press HD on the lower right of the alternate player it will switch to HD.

Thanks Joe!

I'll try Chrome.

By the way, how did you know I was using Firefox? The system collects that sort of info?

SIGH..

I guess I will need to change from Firefox.  I HATE Internet Explorer.  Firefox has been my browser since it came out.  Why do companies take something that works very well and try to improve it only making it worse!?!?!

So what is the consensus for a NON-Microsoft Browser to use ?

Does Firefox Know?

So how do the Firefox people know the site is broken now?  Does the MRH staff notify them?  Unfortunately it isn't uncommon for any software upgrade to break something somewhere.  It just isn't possible for every possible scenario to be tested.  Ask Microsoft, Apple and all the other big boys.

But you already know that, huh Joe?

How I knew it was Firefox

I knew it was Firefox because of the error. Only the current release of Firefox throws that error.

Older Version

If you are set on Firefox, one solution is to download and install an older version that did not have the glitch. One download site I use is Filehippo (.com) which allows you to download previous versions of software.

Firefox 38.0.5

I just tried the latest version of Firefox, 38.0.5 on TMTV and the HD regular player videos now play just fine again. Go figure ...

Firefox 38.0.5

Firefox 38.0.5 didn't work for me to show either the preview or full video for "Back to the Basement".  The full video worked just fine on the alternate player.

Ah, the joy of computers ...
