When I first designed the layout I had intended freight cars in and out to come off the main line but then I got interested in car float operations so I add one to the layout. the float and tug are scratch built with the addition of some commercial castings

Next is a small oil dealer.

The largest facility on the layout is the freight handling area. It handles both truck and rail freight.

Well that's all for now. It's late and I need some sleep. Will post more tomorrow.

Car Float

You can't go wrong with the float. Marine/railroad are always neat. The best of both worlds.
