Big Zeke -On30

Getting back in the hobby after 25 years.  Find paint choices have changed. Will be attempting a shelf switching layout on the Maryland & Delaware RR.  Anyone  know what shade of red is used on the locomotives RS3, and CF7's, looks almost like caboose red. Also need source for decals  in HO. Thanks in advance.  Zeke

Sources of info

Zeke,

I deleted the extra two identical posts.

As for info, I'd start with Google: https://www.google.com/search?q=Maryland+%26+Delaware+RR

As for decals, I think you are looking at a custom set. There are several companies out there that will do them, but some have minimum production runs.

I'm afraid I can't help you with paint colors - although looking at the photos, a version of "brick red" might work.

MDDE

I'll be following along closely! I live in Grasonville and have followed all of the Maryland & Delaware's Chestertown, Centreville and Federalsburg-Cambridge branch lines. I haven't explored Snow Hill. I have an Broadway Limited Undec SW7 that I wanted to bash into the ex Conrail unit that's usually in Massey or Chestertown. I also have a Rail Power Products CF7 shell and chassis intended for MDDE. I picked up the Pikestuff engine house kit to make into the engine house at Massey. I actually had what I thought was a pretty cool idea for a shelf layout of the Federalsburg-Cambridge line. But I have decided instead to build Free-mo modules of a variety of interest. One of these days I'll build some modules for the MDDE. I have scenery products for corn and wheat as well as a fleet of LPG tankers to supply the facility at Williamsburg.
