Precision Design Co. Extreme Load #3 Review

Hello MRH! This is officially my 1st posting and I hope to have many more in the future…

I wanted to pass on to our community my experience with PDC, an MRH sponsor.  I was selected as the winner of the Extreme Load #3 and was pleasantly surprised that it arrived in a timely fashion during the holiday rush of the USPS.  Bill offers free shipping to his customers and I can share with you that he does not send it via “media mail.”  It arrived three days after shipping and arrived in a securely packaged envelope.  The kit looks to be constructed in a way that is easy to assemble and has great details for such a simple subject.  It will make a great addition to any layout in regards to details and purpose of things.

Speaking of purpose…  My future switching shelf layout will be Proto Based/Freelanced driven branch line in Washington State, the Washington Central Railroad, WCRC.  I asked Bill via email about decals for a specific WCRC customer and he had an example for me to confirm ASAP and shipped the next business day.  The decals also arrived in three days via USPS to the greater Seattle Area of Washington State in another securely packaged envelope.

In full disclosure, Bill had notified me that the original kit may have been shipped without any decals by error and wanted to correct it if so.  This was in the end, a blessing for me as I really wanted a purpose for the load terminating on the branch for a customer.

My experience with PDC was one of personal assistance and great customer service!  I am sure that Bill did not go out of his way for me and my requests and that anyone wanting to work with him will find similar experiences.

Thanks Bill
