For years I have been looking for the perfect project for this Walthers undecorated All-Door Thrall kit. I ran across this neat decal set on the Highball Graphics site(set F-338). Here is the car getting switched out at Shaw lumber.DSC_1965.JPG DSC_1969.JPG

Masonite

Really nice Bob!  Will there be an HO scale Bob Rivard waiting in the Shaw parking lot for this shipment to arrive so he can take some home for the layout?

Looks great - not a rust

Looks great - not a rust bucket and that's a compliment!  Much of the freight cars of my favorite time frame (1970-1990) looked more like that - that's what I want to aim for!

Great job!  Jim

Curious about the waybill...

Will the waybill for the Masonite car read "100 units 1/8" Model Railroad Track Cleaner substrate" ?? After all, it's the real deal!

Is there a decal made for Homasote Co. too?

It only seems like a logical next step.

Not likely.

This isn't a cute fantasy car, it's based on a honest real-life paint scheme:
