Few weeks ago I just showed the upper deck layout plan...not much there has changed....but now I have a start on the Main and staging.  Like I said before, It is a modified version of Pldvdk's N&W Pokey Division with his blessing.  Im modeling the GTW, but freelanced....so no coal mines.  The layout plan no where close to finished, but I really liked Paul's concept of the mainline so id like to try and keep it like it is.  I have it attched below as PDFs.  You see I added an auto stamping plant area and well not sure yet on other side of divider I just put some industries but those could be changed  I left his sidings in hopes i can fit some things there...left his yard(just smaller).  I labeled a power plant and rotary dumper on the upper level where I have it labeled but I'm open to it moved.  I know theres alot of questions...no  i dont have givens and druthers...i did  but threw them out since ive made some many changed already and will probably continue too.  For instance Ive dropped the idea of having a intermodal yard (too much space) so no container trains or trailer trains, not using autoracks now so wont be running those either and these were givens.   Ok  ive babbled enough  hopefully I can get a few tips or ideas from some of you.

Suggestions for making a good plan even better

Very nice plan, looks like fun.

Here are two ideas to consider for the upper deck, first that industry needs a run around, it has a trailing siding and on that side of the view block there is no way to get the power to the other end.

Next, if the little yard in the corner is a support yard for the same industry or a storage in transit yard, consider flipping its location and then all the turnouts will face the other way so the power stays (mostly) on the same side of the cuts of cars.
