Timing is everything

You get 24 hours... If you first log in at noon you will have to login again at noon the next day... You could try using the Log Off in the menu on the right side tomorrow morning and then log back in to reset it to have you log in in the morning. Just an idea.

I wondered at the same thing

So now I understand things I was clueless about before and getting logged out is ok. Since I don't post replies all that often I think I will go ahead and try scanning those treads I am interested in and log in only when I need to or just log back out. It only adds a few seconds to the time I am on here by logging in and out. Not having to log out just is another way in which we expect instantaneous service everywhere.

Logoffs

It's something how this site has grown that the time we are logged on has to be timed. Shows how popular it has gotten. Good job Joe and fellow employees.
