I've put my project on hold due to we are buying a home. So you know what that means. Packing up the trains and layout. The Good news is the new place will give me a bit more room. So hopefully I will finish this project by years end.

 Todays update is the first stage of assembling to Crane assembly.

In the first image shows the two halves with the pivot points installed at top and bottom. This is also the stage I realized I'd made a mistake with the timbers that extend out for the boom, where the large wheel goes. I had cut and glued them flush to the uprights and they were supposed to extend to the inside of the uprights. So I had to glue some wood to the inside of the boom in order to glue the large pulley wheel in place.

And the top Wheel glued in place. Next time will be installing the plates and bolts to the crane timbers, and then installing the plate to the main frame where the top pivot point inserts. Hope your enjoying the build...
