Wasn't the Milwaukee and Gary Rwy. Called "The Rockford Route"?

Mendota Northern: Yes this line was known as Rockfort Route. Did I get it wrong, should it be Rockford instead of Rockfort? If so please provide documentation.  Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout

Mendota Northern: You are correct, the herald should be Rockford Route, not Rockfort.

                               I will change my art work and apply a correct herald. Thanks for the

                               observation. Oh by the way, another moniker this line  was known  as was
