To All: Here is a 40 foot FEC boxcar I scratch built with stanray sides. It is inspired by a photo in a rolling stock book. Decals custom made by Ricky Rupp of Modern Rail Company. I plan on painting the roof and ends blue like the prototype. Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout

FEC 21206

This is an interesting car. The book 'Classic Freight Cars vol 7 More 40ft. Boxcars' says it is in a series of 8, 21201- 21208.  It looks a little like a rebuild from the end, anyway which look like 4/5 ends with a spacer, and I'd like to know a little more about the car if anyone has any information.
