Been a while since I’ve had a chance to work on the Engine house. We had visitors for a few days then went out to California to visit family and the new grandson. They treated me to a visit to the California train museum. I'll post some pics of that soon, It was great. Then another round of visitors here. So busy time it was.

So this should be the last installment on the structure portion of the building. In the future I may do an update on detailing the interior some.

I Glued the Smoke Jacks in place with the roof done. Then mixed some asphalt colored acrylic with some tacky glue to use be a tar looking seal around the flashing.

Then I mixed some of the Barnwood acrylic with some Raw Sienna. Did this in tiny batches on a paper plate. This helped with getting different tones across the roof as I didn’t want it all one consistent color. I even stripped the paint I had applied on the shed roof in a earlier post and repainted it. After the paint dried I glued the stove pipe for the shed in place.

And Hera’s a few pictures on the layout. Hope y’all enjoyed the build and I have more projects coming in the future. I apologize for some of the blurry shots was using the point n shoot for these.

Nice colour scheme

A very nice model and colour scheme, it's very close to London and South Western green and cream!
