Hi Elvin - may I add

You may have presented this earlier, but just in case, this is IMHO the greatest Electric/Interurban railway in history:

But then I may be perhaps a bit biased, having ridden on it throughout the greater Los Angeles area - out to Monrovia, San Pedro, et al.

See the information on this great railway at:

Pacific Electric

:UPWilly: Thanks for sharing. I do not have this Pacific Electric Heralds in my

art work collection. This company is one of the more famous ones,

I can not believe I missed it.   Yours, Elvin Howland

Yeah, I'd have to agree. That  line went all the way out to the Redlands loop at it's prime. I saw the cars running in LA in the last years and they were still impressive to a young kid. Another impressive line to me was the South Shore line ..DaveB

One you probably haven't seen before

This is the herald for the Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board in Melbourne Australia. It was formed in 1919 to takeover the operations of all the tramways in Melbourne and ran until 1983 when the Metropolitan Transit Authority was formed. Here is their herald:-
