We have a minor upgrade to the MRH website that's ready to test and we'd like to have anyone who may be interested give it a try.

Just let us know if you're interested in testing and we'll send you the URL.

This upgrade includes several bug fixes, and the single biggest improvement is the WYSIWYG editor now works with tablets and smartphones ... yes, you get the full editor on your tablet/phone now!

If I May

be picky a bit.  The Back Issues link in the right hand column has replaced the Recent Posts position in the menu and now I click Back Issues out of habit every time I want Recent Posts.  I guess I'll adjust after a while, but everything is so automatic after being the same for so long.

I thought it was just me and my clicking ruts. I have visited the back issues page a lot lately.

Eventually the new motion will replace the old and all will be right with the world again.

It underscores

the power of habit and what we do without even thinking about it.  It took me half a day to realize what was happening!  We humans are a funny lot!

You'll get used to it

Yes, I know, but in a few days you will get used to it.

We got complaints that people could not find back issues easily ... we provide a link to back issues on the home page, and under the magazine drop-down menu below the current issue link. The complaint was why don't we put it below the current issue link on the side menu so it's consistent and almost impossible to miss?

We get enough complaints that people can't find back issues that we decided this was probably a good move. Yes, I know it should not be easy to miss, but adding this entry under current issues on the right hand menu should cause this every-few-days support question to go away.

The one small issue is forming a new habit on recent posts - in a couple days you'll be used to it. I'm already getting used to it.

Yes, it's a good choice

Yes, it's a good choice.

I would like to suggest a change for consistency though.

I would change the link to say "Get back issues" so it is mentally grouped better with "Get current issue".

Cheers!

And I would suggest...

Changing "Get Current Issue" to just read "Current Issue" to make it consistent with not only "Back Issues" but also "Recent Posts".

Current Issue

Back Issues

Recent Posts

That looks better to me.

Now that you mention it I see it

Since I tend to look before clicking I have not had any issues at all with it. I am using a mac with a really big screen though. The only thing I don't like are those roll over pop ups that are becoming popular. It seems some places have them right in my path from where I am to where I want to be and I continually end up with something I am uninterested in on my screen.
