My IMW EMU

Very nice and helpful photos on your blog. Your photos helped me in the building of mine. I've not seen too much updates on your IMW South Shore car lately however and I'd really like to see more. I am almost done with mine I just added the Soundtraxx custom decoder in mine,

Awesome Gong and Ditch Lights on Those South Shore Cars!

Your sound and lights really capture the look and feel of the prototype. Now you've got me thinking . . . Would like to hear more about how you got the speaker and lights in there. I checked out your FB page and saw that you are making trailers to go behind the powered unit. Great idea! If I had a bigger layout, I would likely do the same.

Progress on my IMW project has slowed but not stopped. Work has me traveling frequently but I am making progress. I have since acquired another IMW kit and RDC and will begin a second car. Look for an update in the next couple weeks.

Meanwhile, have also gotten the materials together to repower a couple of old brass orange heavyweight orange South Shore cars and will blog that as well.
