Hey guys thought I'd post an update to show ya what I've been up to! Been working on ballasting the entire railroad, adding ground cover and getting buildings placed. I had a guy from the NMRA come see the railroad yesterday and take photos and do an interview in hopes to be part of the tours for the convention here in Portland next August!

Love the backdrops - source?

Great stuff. Your layout is really coming along. Where are you getting the photo backdrops, they look really nice.

Congratulations Shaun,

Your work looks beautiful.  Good luck with the Portland NMRA tour. 

I just finished having my layout toured for the Cleveland NMRA convention.

The backdrops are images I've found online (googling) "high res panorama" and then having them printed out on 11X17 sheets. There is some editing involved to make them work together though.

Were did you get them printed? I used Sam's once.
