Panel question

Thanks for the grande post.

Question:  on the control panel, there appears to be a red wand on a wire.  I'm guessing it's to activate switches by touching the end to a screw on the correct route on the panel.  Is that it?

Always nice to see ...

Always nice to see layout photos like this. Any time I see a layout like this with details everywhere I think, "Wow, somebody's done a lot of nice work!"

Red Wand

Yes Don that is correct.  You touch a copper screw head and it troughs the switch.  The Tall Timbers & Santa Fe is DC.  Jim says he has too many engines and does not want to install decoders in them. Plus the switches are all thrown with Kemtron Machines.
