Been a busy week, but squeezed in some time today to work on the Engine House.

Received my roofing material last week and trimmed to size today and also installed the sky lights today.

The material comes in long strips so had to trim down to 4' X 8' sheets. they come 10' wide by 57' long.

I save the left over bits to use on the roof cap.

Cutouts for sky lights. Used Dremel with cutoff wheel and razor saw slightly smaller than sky light size. then finished off with emery board.

Sky lights installed. Will start gluing roof material on this weekend hopefully.

Looks very good

It looks very good Peter.  I'm sure you said in another post, but where did you get tha aluminum roofing and is it self adhesive?

Looks great - keep on tracking.

RE Looks very good

Hey Jim,

The roofing is from  Northwestern scale lumber and you have to glue it down. I've found tacky and white glue don't work well on it, but the hobby super glues do. The roofing comes 5 sheets to a pack.

I might try contact cement and see how it works.

Thanks,

Peter
