Yes we went of Vacation. I tried to tell cruise director I was always on vacation but that is another story. Work has continued on The Grande Pacific. Installing some of the many bridges that had been put off since 2009. Run trains first. These are the four I am working on. Will have video of this at end of construction project.

Bride One on the Main Line of the Grande Pacific headed toward Rawlins Pass.  Another bridge goes in front of this for branch line.

Again the Main Line of the Grande Pacific.  String and 4ft level used to make this all level and centered.  Cut resin up rights with chop saw and hand help Black and Decker skill saw. Start form the bottom and build up to the bottom of level or string.

Make sure everything is level in both directions. Black line is the center of the track projected down from level using a square.

Video will follow when scenes are finished.  Work from back out and from bottom up.

Come join the Grande Pacific Railroad FB page. Open to all to post.  https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/ahouston3/

Nice bridge abutments Arthur.

Nice bridge abutments Arthur. Did you buy or make them? They look like something I will need when I get started on my layout. It also looks like some of the layout is being updated. Can I anticipate another video on your changes to operation of your layout as well as the scenes themselves?

Bridges? We Don't Need No Stinking Bridges!

Ah, the GP just gets better and better.  I look forward to seeing this bridge when I next get a chance to operate with you!

Jim and I were wondering if maybe you had gone over to 1.5 inch and would not here from you again.

Control panel location, layout and wiring

Arthur,

Always impressed by the quality and scope of your videos.  Please show details of control panels as you visit a variety of layouts and talk about the philosophy of each solution.  Very little is available on this topic. Thanks.
