Im starting over after a switch to n scale. A major downsize was going to limit HO to a small switching shelf. N scale will allow the operation Im looking for. I will still make dioramas in HO as I like the super detail. But Ive seen some really good stuff in n scale.

This is my first module/section

Great Work

You will really enjoy the modelling opportunities in N Scale! I made the same switch from HO. I realized I could never build the layout I wanted in the space available. I now have a "U" layout, 12x11x6 with almost 80 feet of double mainline. That is 160 feet in HO! The possibilities are endless and the quality of the engines and rolling stock has improved immensely. Good luck and I look forward to seeing more of your work. Roger

Nice scene

I think you'll do fine in N scale.

Looks like...

...you made a seamless transition to N.  The blending of texture and color looks great.  Also the varying elevations add a lot to the scene.  Cows & other animals usually look out of place to me.  Yours look like they belong there.

I guess your HO module is 53% better than this.

Dick  It looks great. I

Dick

It looks great. I wasn't sure of the scale till I read the other posts. i love the elevation differences. Too many of us think the world is flat. You have more courage than I do. I had a layout that was 22 by 34 and am now going to a 12 by 26 foot space. N scale would have allowed me more railroad, but I have too much HO.

Hopefully you will share your progress with us.

Great Job

Looks really good! As Ray said above the various elevation levels adds to the realism.
