TWMRCCDO

Texas Western Model Railroad Club has a new home! Our new address is 6808 Forest Hill Drive, Forest Hill 76140.

Also please note that our new web address is  twmrc.org.

We are located in our new, permanent 4,700 sq. ft. building and are constructing our new layout.  It will showcase the very busy Tower 55 interchange in Fort Worth Texas and surrounding areas, and will be providing trackage for 6 of the railroads that crossed it daily.  Built on three levels we will offer long runs, state of the art metal benchwork, LED computer-controlled lighting, and both freight and passenger prototypical operations.  We will have connections to narrow gauge country in Colorado and New Mexico as well.  Our new facility will allow the Texas Western to develop an even greater experience for not only model railroaders, but also the railroad enthusiast, history buff, or those just fascinated by trains! Come join us in building a first-class layout. We meet on Thursday evenings 7-9:30 PM and Saturdays 3-9 PM. HO & HOn3 scale.

Great news

I always enjoyed the old TWMRC layout in the back of the AC business. I was able to watch it grow over the years. I am looking forward to visiting the next time I am in that area, probably October when you have the trainshow. I'm over 80 miles away, so just dropping by is probably not going to happen.

The link above does not work for me.

It does not work for me

It does not work for me either, I will Google and on Tuesday see if any members from the Texas Western are at the council meeting for the upcoming shows in Fort Worth and Dallas. Maybe I can find something there that will work.

I am a bit further out than you are Willie, but I was able to get to their website such as it is not everything is working right now by typing the following into the address bar. http://www.twmrc.org and hitting the search button. There is some info available and some of the pages are working. I am getting a blank on the show page however. I hope they get the rest of the site working soon it would be nice to see some updates. I just tried the link I posted and it worked so you can just click it and get there.

Website error

The address in the original post accidentally includes a dot and space at the end of the URL, so it does not work.

As Rob said, here is the correct link: http://www.twmrc.org/
