While our "official" launch will be in Cleveland at the NMRA Train Show, we thought he'd give the members of the MRH forums a sneak peek at what we are working on!

Ever since Tim's CNJ Bronx Terminal layout was featured on TrainMasters TV, we've received a lot of feedback and requests for the rolling stock boxes that are used to transport equipment for the layout to and from train shows.

We've decided to make these available to the model railroad community through the Fast Tracks website!

FreightCreates, the latest product release from Fast Tracks, are laser cut kits that build into very durable, custom fit transport boxes for your rolling stock. Each kit is designed to accommodate equipment up to a certain size.  The common sizes are currently available, up to 40', up to 65' and up to 90'.

Included with each FreightCrate kit are laser cut bubble wrap cradles made to fit the pockets in the crate precisely. Each piece of rolling stock is placed onto the cradle and lowered into the pocket. Minimal handling is required and each car is safely stowed on it's wheels separate from other cars in the box, protecting each car from damage.

Over 5 years of transporting equipment for the CNJ Bronx Temrinal using boxes similar to these has proven to be a very reliable and damage free way to move around delicate equipment.

A locking mechanism on the base of each box ensures the lids stay firmly in place when in transport. The boxes are stackable and compact.

Cut from 1/8" thick hardboard these boxes are very rugged and will survive even the most mobile of layouts.
