Removing Walthers Streamliners' roofs Locos and rolling stock

How do one remove the Walthers Streamliner coach roofs without leaving any marks on the side of the roof? I want to detail the interior and add LED lighting, but do not want to damage the roof in the process.

There is a video out there

There is a video out there showing how to do this without even a single implement.  You grasp the ends of the car carefully so as not to dislodge or damage any fine applied details, and you twist aggressively to apply torsion to the body.  It sounds horrible, but it actually works. You may break one of the tabs, but you can glue it back together with a good quality styrene glue, and when it sets, it'll act as the original tab.
