In this portion I’ll attach the structures to the card stock back, apply the sign to the front of the first building, and assemble and install the warehouse doors. If you missed the other portions of this build you can see them here:

Attach back to left building.

This pic shows the signs supplied with the kit. I didn’t use these, but made my own.

This is the sign I made using the shape tool and word art in my word processor. Then printed on standard paper. I first measured the original signs and sized the triangle sides to those values. Then played around with the word art function until I had what I thought would look good for the era.

A test fit.

I coated the back of the paper with Mod Podge flat medium and set it in place then used a finger nail to set it in the edges of the boards and then trimmed the bottom two corners off to fit. then put a top coat of Mod Podge on.

This pic shows right side building warehouse attached to back and left building.

Laid out parts for warehouse doors.

Painted, tomato red and vintage white acrylics.

The framing attached to the doors. These and the door frames have a sticky back so you just peal and press into place.

The door pairs are actually one piece, so I split one set so I could have one set open a little.

Pics showing doors in place.

I hope you enjoyed this portion. Next I believe is roofing.

Enjoyed your posts

Hi Peter

I have enjoyed your presentations.  Having fought with DPM molded on windows, I think I am going to go with your way from now on.  Kepp up the great progress.

Re: Enjoyed your Posts

Glad you like them Jim. I'm fairly new to the hobby so I think it helps to share info on these projects.

I know I've gained most my info by searching the forums, etc.
