We are experiencing some technical difficulties resulting in some users of the new downloader getting an Error 2038 message. According to Adobe, an error 2038 means "File I/O Error". This can be caused when a download connection is broken either by the server or the client. The download problem may also manifest itself with timeout errors.

There also appear to be problems using the legacy downloader.

We are looking at server issues and hope to have them resolved forwith.

Sorry for the inconvienience.

We'll update this topic when we know more.

EDIT: The MIRROR download site is working (guess we know now why we had two sites!).  On the downloader panel click the mirror radio button (on the right) then download as normal.

Downloader working again...

As of 9:30am PST I was able to successfully download from the primary site. Dunno what happened, we didn't fix anything!

If you experience "error 2038" errors when downloading please let us know.

Best regards,

Charlie
