I've been in the San Diego Model Railroad Museum over 2 dozen times, and never ventured up to the library, until yesterday (Tuesday). I was pleasantly surprised to see they had a copy of Model Railroading, March 2006, with the vehicle articles. I picked it up for $.25! I'm planing to go back sometime after Christmas with a list, so I know what magazines I can pick up. They have books too, but IMHO the prices were too high ($50 with torn dust covers for a book I got in better condition off eBay for $5), on some books. Didn't happen to see any books I wanted. Looks like the La Mesa club is making some major progress on the upper level, a gentleman was working on scenery around the loop.

San Diego club

I was at the club last week and was glad to see the continuial advancement of the track up the mountain. There is still a lot of railroad to build along the back wall and I look forward to watching it develop.
