I spent All Day Saturday following ex Canadian National Locomotive #7470 for a special "Steam in the Snow" event. We had a great Day Photographing and Video recording the Event. Temps were 9 to 19 degrees. The Snow was fresh. This has been an annual event for the last 7 or 8 years. This will be the last one for some time as #7470 is going to be torn down for a Boiler Inspection. So I don't know when She will return to the Rails. Here's the video link.. Enjoy

I've seen in a while. What a beautiful day to see steam in action. Gave me goose bumps watching and listening. An excellent production.

I take it they didn't go up to Crawford Notch since I saw the engine pointing south in your stills? Have ridden that line over 25 years ago.

Working Rotary Beacon for DCC

Check this out, I got this in the mail yesterday. I tested out with a 9 volt battery. I really am impressed with this product.
