I received my first laser cut kit a few months back and went looking on the web for the best glue to use to assemble it. I found lots of suggestions all with drawbacks I could not live with or very expensive. I decided to strike out on my own and tried a product I was very familiar with for holding all kinds of odd stuff together.

The product is Woodland Scenics Foam Tack Glue. I was able to use it on every part of the kit from the cardboard to the wood to the plastic, etc. It has a very high tack, no smell, it does not expand, you don't need much of it and it dries clear. I was able to clean up where I made mistakes, it dries quickly but not to quickly and I was able to complete the kit in two days. I think it turned out well, I hope this helps others.

This is my switch control house between the freight yard entrance / yard lead and the engine service facility in Waldbrunn, It is not located where it will end up, this is just for the picture. Freight yard tracks behind the fence.

Great!

Good news. I have been messing with gluing my fingers and stuff together using a super glue gel which was recommended and used at our club. I am going to try the tack as I am running out of my wife's nail polish remover to unglue my fingers - LOL!

Beautiful job and a very nice looking building.

I found this while I was

I found this while I was still building R/C Airplanes.  It's like an Aliphatic (Wood) Glue, but has similar properties to a CA "Super" glue.erPhatic.jpg
