Where do I get a plug like this ? This happens to be a Proto 2000 engine.  It does not need to have the PC Board attached I just want to solder wires to this plug and not to the decoder itself. I am sure there is a Digi Key product, I just do not know what to call it.

Thanks,

Kirk

NEM 652 Socket Plug

I think I have answered my own question. It appears that the NEM652 is a standard socket. Litchfield Station sells these with the correct colored wires attached to the correct pin.

Once I get this wired up, I just need to know how to make the plug and decoder mate with the correct orientation.

wiring diagram on DCC wiki

Turns out, I had a couple of these plugs from Athearn engines that someone had wired constant lighting in... It`s weird, these apparently were robbed from P2K engines and put in Athearns. I guess it worked...

After cleaning off the liquid electrical tape, I was able to access the solder pads and then found the wiring diagram on DCC wiki.
