Magazine stops downloading halfway thru. It happened with the November issue, and is happening with the December issue. All previous issues downloaded correctly. Can any body help with this? Thanks, Ted Pilchak

Don't know, Ted

I always download the mag in my iPad. I just ow clicked on the GET CURRENT ISSUE text in the upper right of the page. Then I clicked the button for the NON-FLASH standard download. In a minute or so, it was here.

More details please

Ted, can you provide some details? Like iOS5, 6, or 7? And where you are located, if this is on WIFI or 3G/4G, things like that.

Both mirror and primary?

Both the mirror and the primary do that? Both WIFI and 3G/4G do that?

Guys, we need details

Guys, when you report a problem, give us the details:

1. WHERE are you located? There may be pattern, but we can't find it if you don't tell us.

2. WHAT version? Standard, Embedded, Portrait, Landscape?

3. Do both primary and mirror behave the same?

Without spelling it out like this, just saying "same for me" doesn't give us any information to help solve it.

Thanks for your reply

Joe,

Thanks for your prompt reply.  I can't find one minute to try this, but I will.  I will report my progress.

iPad problems

I used an original iPad and my new iPad Air and neither ever gave me problems downloading MRH unless the MRH site was very busy, as often is the case when a magazine edition is first released. Be sure you are downloading the version for the iPad-- which is the "Other Copy Options" (green button on download page, and then the "Standard" link (landscape) on the resulting page.

I use Good Reader on my iPad mini.

I use Good Reader, as Joe has suggested many times, to download and read the e-mag without issues. I'm running the new OS too. Give Good Reader a try. Den

Same problem

Joe, I have the exact same problem.. Just tried to download the January embedded issue. I tried Landscape format and the other options tab for my iPad 2 with iOS 7 (latest version). I tried both the primary and mirror sites and the download behaves exactly the same: it will go halfway then kick back to the main page on my IPad. It does not even stay in Safari. If I click on the tab which was where the actual download was starting, it starts the download all over from the beginning. As if I just clicked the download button. Jeff Coleman Orlando FL

@Jeff

Jeff and other iPad users, I just downloaded my copy yesterday to my iPad mini. I use Good Reader which you can download from the App Store as a tool to accomplish this. You can download any emagazine. I open MRH in Good Reader to read it. I downloaded the embedded MRH version and the built in links work too. Good Reader keeps a library that you can go back to as often as you want. My MRH mags are in order of issue in the Good Reader library. You must get accustom to how it works in downloading. You will be prompted as you "drill down" through the links to "download from the link." Once you are at the link to download the emagazine it starts downloading when you prompt it. You can watch the status bar as it downloads. Try it! You will like it! Den
