60' FMC Gunderson boxcar--when did it show up? Locos and rolling stock

I have an undecorated Athearn Genesis 60' high cube boxcar with the 10' door. http://www.athearn.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=ATHG4050

It's WAY past the time I'm planning on modeling, but I was thinking it might be nice to decorate it as an anniversary car for my Great North Central so I have something both modern and unique for running on modern layouts.  When did these cars come out?  I am SEVERELY lacking in references to modern railroads.

I'm not an expert

but FMC was manufacturing these as far back as 1972, albeit with a different door style.

If those cars first came out in the '70's, then one is JUST RIGHT for a special paint job commerating the 100th anniversary of the Maine 2-footers...
